Sexy Effortless Look for a Night Out!!!

I am in Shreveport for the weekend with my line sister/best friend April. (Big ups to her for taking my pics! Lolz) The night called for something cute, comfortable and sexy . Went and had some drinks with some friends (Turn up! Lolz) But I decided to pull this old fitted mini dress that I got from Charlotte Russe! I paired it with an old denim shirt to wear around my waist. This is great because it is a 90s look which is totally in right now! I stayed with the casual feel of the outfit by pairing it with some sandals. These sandals I just got recently from payless. I paired it with my earrings and a few bracelets. Have to have accessories!!! This look is totally easy to duplicate and make it your own! Try any fitted dress that makes you feel like the fabulous woman that you are! Use an old denim jacket if you don't have a denim shirt. And use your accessories to add a little "oomph" to your outfit. Hope I get to see what you lovely guys come up with! XO and Stay FAB…

Black and Bows

Today was a pretty warm day. I opted for a maxi dress to stay cool. I had a meeting however so I threw on this kimono! I'm totally in love with these by the way. I snagged this one a couple of months ago from Charlotte Russe. I love the cross strap detail on the back so much that I had to show you guys! I decided to do this fun bow tie hairstyle to keep my hair off my neck. This hairstyle is cute fun and totally easy to do! You just need one elastic hair tie and 3 bobby pins!!! Comment below if you want me to show you how to do this easy style in less than 5 minutes!!! What easy breezy hairstyles are you guys using this summer?! Comment below! XO and Stay FAB!! -Stormie

Casual Day!

Today was a pretty chilled day for me. I had a fun lunch and froyo date which called for a laid-back yet cute outfit! I recently snagged these boyfriend jeans from Charlotte Russe. (oh so comfy!) I decided to pair this old sheer top of mine from Charlotte Russe. The top is actually long sleeved but I just folded them and cuffed them like my jeans! I paired this top with some soft nude wedges that also came from Charlotte Russe! I love that store so much you guys, y'all just don't know! Lol! Since my outfit was pretty laid back I decided to have fun with my jewelry. Arm candy is so much fun to do! Layer and adorn your arms with all the bracelets you like! The initial bracelet and gold open bracelet I got at Charming Charlie's on Sale!!!! Can you say BOGO?!!!?! XO and Stay FAB! -Stormie

Mix It Real Good!

Hey loves! I feel like it has been forever since I posted (even though it was just a week) but I am back! For the longest mixing patterns almost was a fashion taboo if you will, but I am here to fix that. I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and try mixing patterns of my own. One of the first things you want to consider in mixing patterns is to make sure that all your clothing items have a basic color. I would say stick with a common neutral color that all of your items share ie: (black, white, nude). Also if you're a beginner with this be mindful of the accessories. I would suggest keeping simple shoes as well as accessories so that your outfit can really stand out! Of course for me I had to carry my new handbag, courtesy of Mommy dearest! I have been wanting a solid pink handbag soooo badly! (You guys know it's my fave color!) I am having a MIX IT challenge starting today! I challenge YOU yeah YOU to Mix It Real Good! Create your fabulous outfits, post and mention…

Color Block

One trend that's happening this season is color block! It's so much fun. I was inspired when I got these wedges from Charlotte Russe for $15 last week. I styled them with this old maxi dress that I got from Charlotte Russe a while back. Instead of wearing it like I always do, why not show a little leg by tying it in a knot on the side?! I also paired this ensemble with a big floppy hat to protect my face from the sun. If you look closely the sash in the hat has both the color of the shoes and the dress in it... Winning! I had a lot of fun coming up with this outfit. What ways are you guys rocking color block?! Comment, post pics on IG (@ me!) or if you have a blog of your own, comment below! Don't be shy! Fun Prints!

Sooo... Usually I'm strongly opposed to wearing pants in he summer. It's too hot!! And if you're anything like me, you like to think that you're too fabulous for that! I scored these pants at Old Navy for a whomping, wait for it.... $1.47! The shopping gods were looking out for me that day lol! I'm absolutely head over heels in love with prints of all kinds!! (Solids bore me) Lolz. But I paired the pants with this shirt from Charlotte Russe with shoes from Just Fab. My earrings came from Dillard's and my watch Charming Charlie's (love that store!) And this cute little handbag? Came from Herringstone's Boutique! Now I must ask you guys, are you a solids or prints chica? If prints, what prints are you trying or have tried out this summer? Easy Breezy Business Chic

Happy Monday loves! Today called for a business casual outfit fit for running errands and demanding deadlines. Not to mention this crazy heat! With this weather sometimes you have to give the dress pants and blazers a break to stay cool. Beat the heat these summer months! What ways are you styling your clothes to help deal with the heat?
