Denim and Sorority Pride!

"Create your own style...let it be unique for yourself and yet identifiable for others." - Anna Wintour
Hey loves! It was one heck of a week for me but I am back! (Missed me much lolz) But seriously I have been so excited about this post because I had so much fun creating this look! I got inspiration for this outfit from the fabulous Kylie Jenner. Now for those of you who may not be into reality tv or perhaps living under a rock, Kylie Jenner is the youngest of the "Kardashian" sisters. She has a style that's very different from any of her sisters I think, that is all her own. I became inspired once I saw this outfit on a website and was curious to recreate the look (with my own spin on it of course). I hardly ever wear paraphernalia with my sorority name on it anymore (Only because I am getting older in the game lolz) but I wanted to rock some good ole Royal Blue. I got this blue jean shirt courtesy to an older sorority sister who gave it to me. (Awww!) Even though this shirt is strictly for members of Zeta Phi Beta, you can easily find a blue jean shirt like this anywhere! I paired it with this breezy blue blouse that I got a while back from Charlotte Russe as well as the black crochet shorts. (Which I love btw!) Also these beauties on my feet are made by the one and only Gianni Bini! They are also super comfy! I literally wore these all day. I need you guys' opinions. My blog has served the primary purpose of inspiring others to create looks of their own and to discover things fabulous, not only about their wardrobes but about themselves! I want my blog to service my followers in the best way possible! I need to know, would it be helpful to start adding links to where I get my items and/or similar items to the ones you see in my post?! Comment below and let me know what you think? How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
