Boyfriend, Boyfriend Shirt

"Don't try to figure out what other people want to hear from you; figure out what you have to say. It's the one and only thing you have to offer." ~ Barbara Kingsolver

Hey Loves! I hope everyone had a great weekend, I know I did! I live in Louisiana, born and raised, and it's February so that means Mardi Gras season! Time for endless parties, balls and PARADES! We had a Mardi Gras parade here this past weekend and I had such a great time with my Sorors and Fraternity Brothers! But nonetheless, you all didn't come to hear about my weekend, you all came to see my new style post!
So this look that you see in today's post for a while. I loved the oversized/boyfriend trend whether that's a shirt, sweater, or jeans. It is so easy comfortable and not to mention oh so chic! It is an easy thrown-together look that I absolutely love!

I literally grabbed a shirt from my boyfriend's closet but you can opt for a brother, cousin, uncle whomever to get a shirt without having to go out and buy one. I opted for these dark distressed jeans and these bold cut out platform heels so that they can really stand out.

The day I took these photos I was extremely busy with so many different things but I managed to take pics at one of my fave stores, Target or (Tar-Jay) if you're bougie... (HAHA) But any way I had to make this stop to pick up some of my fave things and I had a few mins to snap some pics. I be making it work to get these posts out you guys!

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
