Working Woman Wednesday

"Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible." ~ Francis of Assisi

Hey Loves! So today's post is for all of my working women out there! (I figured that this outfit would be appropriate lolz) Whether you work in the corporate field, creative field or have your own business, (which WILL be me one day) this ootd is perfect for you!

I absolutely LOVE this dress! It is actually long sleeved but because it was warmer and to give it a more laid back feel, I pulled the sleeves up a bit. I easily paired it with blue chandelier earrings, black pointed toe pumps and a black sequined bag to make it a little fun.

To all of my fab women working out there, keep working for whatever it is that you want out of life. Keep striving, keep pushing to make your day dreams and everyday reality. As I am telling you all this, I am reminding myself to keep working on the things that I am passionate about, such as this blog! I got up one day and decided that I wanted to do a fashion blog and so I did! There's such beauty in the freedom of being able to do something that you set your heart out to do. I may not be where I want to be as a fashion blogger by any means but that just motivates me to keep pushing. I am one that does not keep company with complacency and you shouldn't either! Keep wanting more, keep going for more and keep gaining more! I have faith in you. Sometimes all it takes is faith in oneself to achieve the unthinkable!

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
