12 Days of So Fabulously Sweet : Day 4 : What to Wear : Office Holiday Party

“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.” ~Jung

Hey Sweetie pies! So omg why I thought that my post went live yesterday and apparently it hadn't?! I logged on to here and saw that I preset my post for today instead of yesterday! (face palm) I am so sorry sweetie pies! (It has been one of those weeks...) If I can be honest with you all, this week has been super exhausting and super stressful due to work. Everyone is so busy with hustle and bustle of the season.

Speaking of work, today's blog post is about those holiday parties at your office. I tried to come up with different outfits based on the attire for the party. This first look is great if maybe the party is going to be at a penthouse with an outdoor balcony. Snuggle up in a sweater just as this one. For coat options, I suggest a faux fur cropped jacket.

For this look, this great for that woman who loves to show off her voluptuous figure. This look do very much work for the office, depending on the culture of your office. With a high waist skirt and long blazer such as this one, you don't have to worry about showing too much skin.

Party is right after office hours so you won't have time to change clothes? Tired of the same LBD? Well then opt for a rich jewel toned such as this one. To make it more holiday festive, let your accessories do the talking! I love anything sparkling and these sparkling accessories will definitely reflect all the holiday lights. To make it more work appropriate during the day, opt for a simple black blazer.

So is your company known for having THOSE holiday parties? Perhaps your office/company is known for having the "#1 social event of the year" kind of thing? Well you need an outfit that reflects that! This dress is definitely a statement all on its own so keep your accessories and makeup to a minimum. Add a bold lip and statement earrings and you're done!

This last look, is for a laid back party. Maybe you have a party going on during office hours or maybe you're a school teacher having a casual party with kids involved.

I hope you guys enjoyed these looks! Do you have a party coming up at your workplace? Would any of these looks work for your party's attire? Leave me your thoughts below.

As always, XO and Stay FAB! ~ Stormie

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…
