How to Layer Without Overwhelming Your Frame

“The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one.” – Elbert Hubbard

Hey sweetie pies! Happy Friday! Have you ever struggled with wearing layers and felt like your clothes were eating you alive? Lolz well I am going to share you my top tips as to how to style your body with layers without overwhelming your frame. My biggest tip is to play with proportions, fabrics and textures. I used this blouse and tied it up over this dress. I then threw on this long vest to add dimension. The top tied up helps to break this silhouette up a bit draws your eyes up.

I mentioned to play with different textures in various sizes and lengths. Have fun with it. Try mixing a faux fur with leather or suede with cotton. The options are endless! Just recognize and learn your body. It is so important to understand what works for your frame and what doesn't. For example, what works best for a petite frame won't work the best for a tall, hourglass shape.

This time of the year is perfect to play with different layers and different looks. Especially, with the cooler temps, the time is perfect!

So what are you guys' plans for tonight? I am getting ready to go party it up with a few blogger besties and then I am going out with some good friends! Leave me a comment below sharing the deets!

Have a great and safe weekend!

As always, XO and Stay FAB! ~ Stormie

3 Pros and Cons Being a Freelancer

"Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free." ~ Jim Morrison ***Stock Image by Wonderlass***
Are you or have you ever thought about being a freelancer? The entire concept for most means freedom to do what you want. Setting your hours. Getting to sleep in. Working when you feel like it. While some of those are true, I think people get a false perception for what it's really like to be a freelancer. I freelance dance and write so I want to share some pro's and con's. These statements are my own opinions so I suggest taking it with a grain of salt.
Pros 1. You are ultimately your own boss. You can dictate what hours you work and how long you work for the most part. Being your own boss means independence and not having to answer to someone else.
2. You can work as little or as much as you want. Since you are your own boss, you can determine how many projects you take on at a time. Usua…
