Better Late than Never Right? - Sequins, Faux Fur and Lace

"Don't ask what the world needs, ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." ~ Howard Thurman

Hey Sweetie Pies! I hope you all had a great weekend! I like to think that my weekend came and left way too fast. But I am glad that it's Monday because that means a new blog post! YYYAAAAAYYYY!

If you follow me on Snapchat then you may have seen this look before. This was my NYE outfit that I was totally in love with! Now I know it's a little late to be sharing NYE outfits but better late than never right? I wanted to recreate this look specifically for blog purposes so you're welcome, LOLZ.

Me personally I have never been one to shy away from wearing anything sparkly, the holiday season just makes it the perfect excuse to. I wanted to go full on Glamazon with this look starting with this sequined number in a dark bold color. To add a touch of sexy, I opted for these lacy tights and strappy heels. To give it a glamorous luxe feel, I opted for this faux fur jacket that adds a nice contrast in comparison to the rest of the look.

NYE night I didn't carry a purse. (My boyfriend held my phone and ID so you know it's real, lolz) But for this look I opted for one of my all time faves, my sequined Gianni Bini handbag.

I hope you enjoyed this look and I hope that you all have a prosperous week! I know I am planning on it!

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
