Chloe + Isabel's New Capsule Collection : La Dolce Vita

"I truly believe that everything we do and everyone that we meet is put in our path for a purpose. There are no accidents; we're all teachers - if we are willing to pay attention to the lessons we learn, trust our positive instincts and not be afraid to take risks or wait for some miracle to come knocking at our door." ~ Marla Gibbs

Hey sweetie pies! Happy Friday! If you follow me on my blog instagram account (sofabulouslysweet) then you probably already know that a new collection launched in my boutique Tuesday night. I didn't however share with you what this new collection is about nor my top 3 must have pieces!

The La Dolce Vita collection is inspired by the art, architecture, and design of Italy. Adorned in classic black and white with a dash of gold specks and antique gold plating, it is perfect for transitioning from Winter to Spring. Which of course is why it is our Pre-Spring capsule collection. Which it's classic yet glamorous feel, it seems to give tribute to the styles of Audrey Hepburn, It is so feminine and perfect for any look!

In tradition So Fabulously Sweet fashion, I figured I would put together some looks to share with you my top 3 fave pieces and how I would style them! Of course I have some images in my boutique with these jewels styled but I figured I would share with you guys some looks I created specifically for the blog.

My first choice is the gilded ivory + jet collar necklace. I love the statement that this necklace makes and I love this outfit! I wanted to style this necklace with an unexpected edge so I opted for the ripped denim, wide flat brim hat, and booties. To give the look a soft touch I opted for this sweater. And of course I still had to have a hint of glam so I opted for these sunnies by Quay Australia and this suede Chloe bag which I have been totally swooning over! This look is perfect for grabbing coffee with friends or a casual dinner.

For this look, I wanted to feature my 2nd choice, the tortoise + chain convertible necklace. This necklace can be FIVE different ways! Definitely making it worth the buck! (If you would like to see a more in depth post about that, just leave a comment below!) This outfit was inspired by menswear hence the oversized blouse, with trouser pants, loafers and fedora. Of course I had to add a feminine flair with the oversized sunnies, a large tote and of course the loafers in a fun leopard print. This look is great for traveling, touring the city, or just running errands. Throw your hair in a low bun with a touch of mascara and lipstick of your choice and you're set!

For the 3rd and final look, I opted for a soft feminine and mature look featuring the gilded ivory + jet convertible earrings. I love a statement earring that is convertible, talk about functional! These earrings can be worn as studs or ultra-chic drops! I opted for a soft look in pastels with a hint of metallic and this blush with gold is total Swoon-worthy! This look is great for work and/or church! But you guys know me, I will wear this look just because it's Tuesday! Lolz

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
