What to Wear : Date Night : Valentine's Day Edition

"The reward of art is not fame or success but intoxication."  ~ Cyril Connolly

Hey sweetie pies, TGIF!!! Valentine's day is around the corner and if you're in the same boat I'm in, you have no idea as to what to wear! So I figured that I would create 3 unique looks for 3 unique dates!

So for this first look this is for a night out for a fancy dinner or dancing the night away. Instead of the usual dress or the blouse and skirt, opt for a sexy jumpsuit. This one is in a fabulous color and material with a flattering silhouette, making it just as sexy as a dress. I love these statement making shoes that increases its sexy factor. Some statement earrings and a simple handbag and you're set! If it's chilly, throw on this coat and still keep your look pulled together.
Valentine's Day Outfit #1

Movie night anyone? Group date? Or do people do that anymore? Either way this is perfect for a casual night time date. This outfit is perfect for catching a movie, hitting up a local bar, or grabbing wings at a sports bar. You can still look chic and super flirty while creating an effortless look.

Valentine's Day Outfit #2

Netflix and chill anyone? All jokes aside, this look is perfect for staying in and cuddling up with your boo. Nothing screams comfort like leggings. I opted for some with a little leather so it looks like you gave it some thought. An oversized sweater is super comfy and instantly chic when paired with the right bottoms. With such a simple outfit, why not let your accessories do the talking? Spritz on some of your fave (or maybe your boo's fave) perfume on your pulse points and spritz a little in your hair. Your significant other will love it!  If you and your hunni bun are doing something casual during the day such as grabbing brunch or taking a picnic to the park, grab these sunnies for an instant celeb-style get up.

Valentine's Day Outfit #3

Ok sweetie pies, which look was your favorite? I would love to hear your thoughts! Hopefully this provided some inspiration and now picking out that Valentine's day look won't be so daunting of a task. What are you guys' plans for the 14th? (I have no idea what we are doing yet.)  I am sure we will be figure something out.

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
