Back to School 2016 : Capsule Collection/Lookbook H.S. Edition

"The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless." ~ Jean-Jacques Rousseau

Hey sweetie pies, happy Wednesday! I have another post for my back to school series and it is featuring a capsule collection of items that I suggest you have in your wardrobe. Of course you don't have to have these exact items pictured here but definitely get what works for you, your school's dress code and your personality! I added fun colors and unique prints to challenge myself creatively. I tried to keep in mind about dress codes so I opted for items that were a certain length and not too revealing. I took the leisure of creating a lookbook which includes all of the items from the capsule collection that I created. Hopefully this makes putting looks together a lot less stressful. You will definitely be the one that everyone comes to for fashion advice!

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
