Chloe + Isabel Fall Collection 2016 : Modern Muses

"Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced." ~ Soror Kierkegaad

Hey sweetie pies, happy Wednesday! Fall season is slowly approaching and I am so excited! With a new season comes a new collection from Chloe + Isabel! I want to introduce to you guys, Modern Muses. I am excited to share with you the collection and the inspiration which is pretty dope!

The Rebel mini collection is inspired by provocative writer Anais Nin. Our rebel collection features complex and alluring designs with intoxicating semi-precious red tiger eye stones at the heart.
The Maven mini collection is inspired by 'baroness with a brush' Tamera de Lempicka. She was a pioneering female who became an international Art Deco ambassador - icy silvers and vivid greens echo her drive and energy.
The Hero mini collection is inspired by Lee Miller whose black and white photos of WWII Europe helped define her career. Her images are also the catalyst for this collection's clean lines, architectural feel and modern colorway.

The Artisan  mini collection is simply breathtaking and probably my favorite out of the entire collection. Portrait artist Leonor Fini was a defining female presence in the Art Nouveau movement - reinterpreted here in dramatic bursts of crystals and lush florals.

Which mini collection are you curious in trying out? All of these pieces and more can be found on my boutique site by clicking the Chloe and Isabel tab at the top of the page!

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
