November Favorites 2016

"Be faithful to that which exists within yourself." ~ Andre Gide

Hey sweetie pies! We are less than 2 weeks away from Christmas and I can barely contain my excitement! With that being said, I have yet to get on here and talk about my November faves with you guys! I know I normally do a video but I have been having technical difficulties. (meaning my iPad is being a huge pain the butt at the moment)

I have a few faves for the month of November and I figured that I would still share with you all!

1. My Erin Condren Planner
With so much going on this month from rehearsals to parties, it is imperative that I stay organized with everything.

2. Coconut Oil
We have been having cold blasts in the weather down here in Houston and my skin and hair has not been so happy about it. I have been mixing coconut in with my lotion to keep my skin moisturized all day and putting it in my hair twice a week to help combat the dry cold air.

3. First5 App
I believe that I have mentioned this on my blog before but I stopped using it for awhile. But more recently, I have gotten back in the habit of using it daily and I am so glad that I did! Doing my devotionals is part of my morning routine now and it puts me in such a good headspace! (along with my meditation of course)

4. My Denim Jacket
Ever since I got mine from Irisie I can't stop wearing it! I wear it with pretty much everything!

 Songs -

Picture me Rollin - Chris Brown
Grass Ain't Greener - Chris Brown
All I Want for Christmas is You - Mariah Carey
Black Beatles - Rae Sremmurd
Tourist - Travis Scott

What are some of your faves for the month? Let me know in the comment section below!

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
