Oversized Sweater - Dress + Style Tips!

"Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present." ~ Jim Rohn
Hey sweetie pies! My apologies for not posting on the regular, I am having difficulties posting videos on my channel for you guys and it is totally giving me the blues. Is that reasonable excuse? Of course not, but it is the only excuse I really got so.... we are just going to roll with it. :)

One thing I am all for is re-purposing items and wearing it multiple ways. You may remember this oversized chunky sweater from last year. But in case you are new around these parts I will give you the 411. This sweater (worn as a dress) was my boyfriend's. Key word in that sentence 'was', yes because I have adopted it and is now part of the So Fabulously Sweet archives. (No that doesn't really exist but you get the point) I love how big and cozy this is. I love that I can wear this with some leggings and Uggs and lounge around the house. Or I can opt for the sexier look by pairing it with my thigh high boots.
This look is totally trending right now on many style stars and bloggers. The oversized distressed t-shirts and t-shirt dresses are being found everywhere. Paired with sneakers and boots alike, you can definitely rock the look. I do however have a few rules to keep in mind when rocking this trend.

1. Make sure to wear the proper undergarments.
Don't be that girl who shows off all her assets. I always make sure to wear booty shorts underneath just in case.

2. It does not have to be skin tight in order to look good.
I honestly prefer that mine fit a little loose to help give off the illusion of an actual dress. Wearing one that is too tight and possibly too short just looks like you forgot your pants - not a good look.

3. If you are going to wear a shirt dress, cover up elsewhere.
I have always believed that if you are going to have one part of the body exposed, then cover up elsewhere. If your legs are going to be out, then cover up top with a jacket or on the bottom with tights, leggings or boots. The only time I may break this rule is if it is really hot out or if I am going out.
If you don't have the budget to go out and buy a t-shirt dress, raid your boyfriend, brother or dad's old wardrobe (which their permission of course) and revamp it! You can easily distress and bleach old graphic t shirts or use an old button up and belt it to make it more fitted to your taste.

What do you ladies think of this look? Make sure to leave me a comment below sharing your thoughts!
As always, XO and Stay FAB! ~ Stormie J

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…
