So Fab Super Bowl Checklist

"Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change." ~ Brene' Brown

Hey sweetie pies! The biggest game of the football season will be taking place next weekend here in the city of Houston! There is so much 'hustle and bustle' going on with preparing for all the festivities. (I have a few that I will be attending myself - including a watch party at a friend's.) I figured I would share my #SoFabSuperBowlChecklist.

1. Make sure you are dressed to win!
You can be dressed to kill even for a watch party. Check out some inspiration below.

Perhaps you are not much of a jersey or t-shirt kind of girl like myself, or you are just extra like yours truly - opt to dress in your sports team's colors like I did below. If you're someone who is interested in adding a little Texas flare to your outfit be sure to check out these fabulous Cowgirl boots. Can you guess my favorite team?

2. Fuss Free Snacks!
In between touchdowns and field goals, you want to munch on snacks that don't involve a lot of fuss such as chips and salsa, popcorn, wings and mozzarella sticks. :)

3. Adult Beverages
I know for me, I like to enjoy a mimosa or a mixed drink while watching the game. So whether it's a cold beer or margarita, make sure you have at least one, oh and DD!

4. Good People, Good Times and Plenty of Trash talk
It is so fun to have a little friendly competition going to see whose team will win it all. I think ultimately as long as you are around good people whom you love, it is a good time regardless of who wins!

So that's my #SoFabSuperBowlChecklist - pretty simple and straight to the point! What's on your checklist as well as your SuperBowl plans? Leave me your thoughts in the comment section below! May the best team win!:)

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
