Charming Charlie Event Review!

"It is not necessary to accept the choices handed down to you by life as you know it." ~ Hunter S. Thompson

Hey hey sweetie pies!  Happy Monday! As many of you know, I had a shopping event at Charming Charlie the other week. It has taken me so long to upload this because of the many performances that I have had over the past couple of weeks. My event was on March 9th and it was to celebrate the launch of all new products just in time for Spring! Spring is one of  my fave seasons - especially because of the fashion! Charming Charlie has gorgeous new clothing and accessories that are to die for! There are a slew of accessories in bright hues such as turquoise and coral - perfect for Spring! I managed to snap a few pics and videos of some of the new merchandise. Check it out below!

I held my event at the location off of FM 1960 W and the staff was fantastic - especially the manager Nicole. She helped me get everything set up and made sure that I was comfortable. She helped to make sure that I had any and everything that I needed. Nicole was present throughout the entire planning process and I am forever grateful for her as well as the entire Charming Charlie family!

I wanted to have a relaxed but fun event and I got just that! I managed to snap a few pics of myself and some of friends that came!

You know your girl snagged some goodies from Charming Charlie. I did a Facebook live video to show all the new things that I had gotten. You can check it out here. I will attempt to link everything that I bought below!

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
