So Fabulously Sweet Nail Polish Faves! - Sharing the Best in All things Nail Polish

"Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope or confidence." ~ Helen Keller
Hey sweetie pies! I hope you all having an awesome day and a more awesome week! I definitely believe in self care and taking the necessary time to relax and unwind. One way I like to pamper myself is through getting my nails done or polishing my toes. I love getting my toes done professionally but I dance so much that I can never keep them up. I end up throwing a lot more money than intended so I just do them myself. I may limit myself to 2-3 pedicures throughout the entire year because of all the dancing that I do. But with that being said, it is a good problem to have!
So today, I want to talk about all things nail polish. I will be sharing my fave brands of polish for such categories as best unique colors, best topcoat, best drugstore brand, etc. I will also share a couple of my fave nail looks as well for some #NailInspiration!

Spring Lookbook 2017 : How to Pair Classics with fun Trends to Create an Envy-worthy Wardrobe (Pt. 1)

"Creative work is not a selfish act or a bid for attention on the part of the actor. It's a gift to the world and every being in it. Don't cheat us of your contribution. Give us what you've got." ~ Steven Pressfield
Hey hey sweetie pies! The Spring season is well underway and the world is filled with pollen and climbing temps - well at least that's the case here in Houston. As always, I have a lookbook here for your inspiration and shopping pleasure. For this season's lookbook, I wanted to focus on incorporating seasonal trends with timeless classics. I also wanted to showcase how you can incorporate timeless trends such as pastels in Spring and pair with current trends such as metallic. As always, I have linked the items or similar below each look. Since I love you guys (and lookbooks) so much, I am doing a 2 part series for this season! That's right, I will be doing a second part that will be coming to the blog in the next week or so. :) But for th…

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!

Chloe + Isabel - Bridal Collection

"Let yourself go. Pull out from the depths those thoughts that you do not understand, and spread them out in the sunlight and know the meaning of them." ~ E. M. Forster Hey hey sweetie pies! A new collection just launched in my boutique in perfect time for wedding season, prom season, festival season, heck just Spring season in general! Even though it's been branded as a 'bridal' collection, it can easily be worn with anything for any occasion! Check it out below and let me know your thoughts!

Make sure to leave your thoughts below as well as check out my boutique to see all these pieces and more! As always, XO and Stay FAB! ~ Stormie J

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress - 2 of 3 Ways

"Work like hell! I had 122 rejection slips before I sold a story." ~ F. Scott Fitzgerald
Hey hey sweetie pies! Here is the 2nd way that I styled this dress. If you haven't seen the first way that I styled this dress from Rainbow, click here to check it out! I figured since it buttons all the way down, why not opt to leave it open? In this look, I opted to style the dress as a duster coat. It is easy, comfortable and adds some dimension to an otherwise simple look. I opted for these thigh high boots (found some similar for under $100!) with jewelry from my boutique.

I am loving this dress with velvet details from Target. I will try to find this dress or something similar and link it below. (I managed to find one for $22!) I snagged this dress awhile back during the holiday season. I have been in love ever since! What do you sweetie pies think of this look? Leave your thoughts below!
