Royal Blue and Stripes!

"Don't watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going." ~ Sam Levenson
Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Monday! Today was definitely one of those days where everything was off whack. I feel like everything kind of went awry today. But I am sooo glad to be at home with my candle lit, cuddled with my fave blankie and talking to you all!
This look is giving me life! I have been obsessing over this fit and flare dress from Francesca's. Unfortunately it is no longer available but I will try to link some similar affordable options below. :) I have been loving this dress so much with my denim cork heel sandals from Target. (Also available in black!)
I paired it with my striped shirtdress from Rainbow and opted to wear it as a duster coat. You can check out this post to see another way I wore this dress as a duster coat. This is the perfect cover-up for the office during these hot months. It is breathable but with the collar and the minimal print, it is office friendly!

June & July Favorites - 2017

"Every failure is a lesson. If you are not willing to fail, you are not ready to succeed."
Happy Thursday sweetie pies! I hope you all had an awesome day! You guys know that I love having girl talk and sharing my most recent obsessions. From fashion to beauty to lifestyle, I have favorites that I have been loving for the months of June and July. Make sure to check them out below!
1. Pink Satchel Handbag If you have joined the sweetie pie family recently, then you may have noticed this adorable handbag. Originally from Charming Charlie, it was at a very reasonable price, just under $40! I have been styling this bag with some of everything due to its soft pastel color and size. It is the perfect size for an everyday bag in my opinion - not too big or too small. It also comes with a long strap to wear over the shoulder.
2. Mirrored Sunnies When it comes to the summer time, I neeeeedddd my mirrored sunnies! No summer #OOTD would be complete without them! They can instantly make a…

4 Hump Day Hacks - How to Get Over Mid Week Blues

"Wake up with determination. Go to bed with satisfaction."
Happy Hump Day sweetie pies! I hope you all had an awesome day! Friday is on the horizon but until then, let's continue to grind it out! It can definitely be a struggle to get over that mid-week hump and even made worse to think that you have 2 more days to endure. But no need to worry because there are hump day hacks to get over your mid- week blues.
1. Do what you love.  Now while this may seem like an obvious and redundant statement, it couldn't be more true. If you are doing what you love, whether that's through your 9-5 or as a side project, you will have form of fulfillment and not getting lost in the shuffle.
2. Do what you can until you can do what you want.  You may not be at a point to do your hobby full time or maybe you can't afford that camera right now or to take that course. In that case, have your "bread and butter" job to help finance your passion until you get to a better …

Urban Glam Street Style

"If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don't have to be pushed. The vision pulls you." ~ Steve Jobs
Happy Tuesday sweetie pies! I want to share another way that I styled this adorable romper from Target. Make sure to take a look at yesterday's post here to see the first way that I styled this piece. For today's look, I decided to do an urban street style look - total opposite from yesterday's look.

I opted for this light sequin bomber jacket with my faux fur slides. I got these dupes from Rainbow but they are offered at a plethora of stores. You more than likely already have a pair in your wardrobe. Jewels are from Chloe+Isabel and I grabbed these sunnies from a store called Q in the galleria. Colored tinted sunnies are super trendy right now and are being spotted every where. From celebrities to style stars alike these sunnies have definitely become a summer staple and the perfect accessory to compliment any outfit.

Babygirl in Sweet Pink Playsuit

"Long term consistency trumps short term intensity." ~ Bruce Lee
Hey hey sweetie pies, Happy Monday! I hope you all had an awesome and prosperous weekend! I definitely did. I had date night with David where we went out. I did some shopping on Saturday. (No worries, I will share what I bought with you all soon) And I spent most of Sunday washing and conditioning my hair, relaxing and sneaking in a few cuddles with David. With such a great weekend in the books, I was rested and ready to take on today! It has been a busy one for your girl full of work and meetings but I love a productive day!

Today's look calls for this absolutely  adorable romper from Target. This exact one is unfortunately sold out but I linked a similar style here. There are so many things that I love about this romper from the ruffle details around the neckline (which I LOVE) to the lovely print to the pocketssss! Nowadays, it seems like such a struggle to find clothes for women that have fully functi…

Bombers and Ruffles

"It always seems impossible until it is done." ~ Nelson Mandela

Hey hey sweetie pies, I love adding a "third" piece to complete an outfit. It is usually in the form of a jacket, blazer, vest or scarf. I believe adding a layer compliments a look perfectly and adds dimension. One jacket that I am obsessing over is this jacket from Target. It is great for wearing to the movies (where it is usually freaking cold) or in an office for casual Fridays.
I decided to let this jacket do most of the talking by pairing it with a fitted tank and skinny jeans. The jacket definitely adds flair to an otherwise simple look with the loose fit and ruffles. For my accessories I opted for my black lace heels (Similar pair on sale here), leopard mini tote bag and gold jewelry.

What are your weekend plans? I am about to get ready for date night with my boyfriend David and I am so excited! I will be spending the rest of my weekend relaxing, blogging and hanging with friends/Sorors. I lov…

Pleats, Metallic and Denim

"As practice makes perfect, I cannot but make progress; each drawing one makes, each study one paints, is a step forward." ~ Vincent van Gogh
Hey sweetie pies! Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a great day! Check out this look that I created for work. I started with my rose gold pleated skirt and added some dimension with the polka dot blouse. To keep it fun and light, I opted for my denim jacket and denim sandals. I decided to do a half tuck with my blouse to make it more interesting and dimensional.

My accessories are my pink bag that I have been loving from Charming Charlie. This bag is sold out but I will link similar options below. I kept the look fab with gold jewelry and these fun sunnies.
What do you sweetie pies think of this look? Would you recreate it? What would you change to make this look your own? Let me know in the comments below!

Lace and Bare Shoulders

"Don't be an art critic, but paint, there lies salvation." ~  Paul Cezzane

Happy Monday sweetie pies! I know I haven't been on the blog lately. I mentioned on Instagram that I had family in town last week and I had so much fun! I literally had a full house where I had my 2 nephews, my little sister and friend during the week then my mom, my cousin and my older sister joined us on the weekend. It was such a good time and got to (somewhat) unplug from the blog but I am ready to get back to work!

I shot this look the week before last but I definitely couldn't keep this look away from y'all any longer! You may remember this slip dress from the WhoWhatWear collection at Target. You can check another way I styled this dress recently from my post, How to Make Lingerie Inspired Pieces Work for Daytime. I opted to style with it this oversized button down. I also styled this same oversized shirt another way here on So Fabulously Sweet. You can check out that post here

Headwraps and Pom Poms

"A good artist has less time than ideas." ~ Martin Kippenberger
Hey hey sweetie pies happy Monday! I am so happy to share today's look with you all! You guys know that I love anything involving a headwrap and anything off the shoulder. It is definitely one of my faves this season! I paired this off the shoulder top that I got a while back from Rainbow with this thrifted white linen skirt. It is no longer available but I will link some other fun tops below!

I absolutely adore everything about this look! I tucked in the top to help accentuate my waist and give my figure the perfect compliment. I complimented this look with a trend that I previously mentioned - metallic! I love these Gianni Bini wedges that I got ages ago so unfortunately they are no longer available but I will link similar pairs below.

I paired it with my all time fave hoop earrings and necklace. (which unfortunately is out of stock) But I love accessorizing with simple, silver pieces from my boutique. I…

Ruffles Galore!

"Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky." ~ Rabindranath Tagore
Hey hey sweetie pies! For this post, I wanted to feature a look with this beautiful blouse (plus size here). I snagged it at Target last month and I absolutely love it! I love how flowy it is and you guys know that I am a sucker for anything ruffled! Plus it is in one of my fave prints - polka dot! Give me all  the polka dots!
This blouse is perfect for brunch and to also hide that food baby! (lol) I actually wore this on a day where I had lunch with my boyfriend and friends and it was perfect! (I had an unhealthy amount of chips and salsa)
I decided to pair my blouse with some black jeggings and my fave booties from Target as well. Mine are sold out but I will link some similar ones below. :) I opted for my red bag that I got for Christmas with some Chloe + Isabel jewels. I opted for this Gilded Reeds Aventurine Necklace. (Currently on sal…
