Lace and Bare Shoulders

"Don't be an art critic, but paint, there lies salvation." ~  Paul Cezzane

Happy Monday sweetie pies! I know I haven't been on the blog lately. I mentioned on Instagram that I had family in town last week and I had so much fun! I literally had a full house where I had my 2 nephews, my little sister and friend during the week then my mom, my cousin and my older sister joined us on the weekend. It was such a good time and got to (somewhat) unplug from the blog but I am ready to get back to work!

I shot this look the week before last but I definitely couldn't keep this look away from y'all any longer! You may remember this slip dress from the WhoWhatWear collection at Target. You can check another way I styled this dress recently from my post, How to Make Lingerie Inspired Pieces Work for Daytime. I opted to style with it this oversized button down. I also styled this same oversized shirt another way here on So Fabulously Sweet. You can check out that post here. However I noticed that it was swallowing my frame on top so then I decided to take it off the shoulder and I am so glad that I did! I skipped the first 3 buttons, fastened the 4th and then tied the ends of the blouse. I opted for these sexy lace up heels. Mine are sold out but I will link some similar affordable options below.

I decided to accessorize with gold accessories and mirrored tinted sunnies. I grabbed these sunnies and watch from Charming Charlie, while I got my jewels from Chloe+Isabel. I think the accessories just make it look so cool yet luxe! It is the perfect combo!

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
