Goals for the Month of August - Monthly Layout : Happy Planner

"Note to Self: You gotta do this for you. This is for you. This isn't about everybody. Live for you. Honor you. Never lose sight of that."

Hey sweetie pies! It has been a busy day for your girl! Can you believe that we are already in the month of August? I am super excited because it is my birthday month! My birthday is in less than 2 weeks and I am so excited but I have yet to make any birthday plans. How crazy is that? What do you guys think I should do? I would love to hear you guys' suggestions!

With a new month comes new expectations, new goals, new events and new opportunities - I am excited to be a part of it all. I love that and I will embrace it with open arms! This month is an exciting one for me because of my birthday and then I am celebrating a lot of birthdays this month. So for this month's layout I wanted it to reflect that. I love the rainbow washi tape and the fun stickers. I will link the exact sticker book these came from and similar washi tape below.

Some of my goals for this month is to enjoy my birthday, take a new dance class, invest in myself and my craft more. I also plan to go to some blogger events this month. I am looking to invest more in So Fabulously Sweet, make some significant changes this year and I am nervous yet excited about them! What changes would you like to see to the blog? Let me know below. I would love to hear your thoughts as well as any goals you may have this month!

"The principles of true art is not to portray, but to evoke." ~ Jerzy Kosinski
This post is in collaboration with Thinking Boutique. While some of the products were gifted to me all opinions are my own.

Not only do they awesome clothing but they also offer other services and classes but more on that later. :) From seeing all of the beautiful clothes to the unique Houston based jewelry lines (that is often handmade) there is something to fit your style needs. The ladies were so resourceful and helpful in helping me select clothing items. It was hard to narrow it down but I was able to take home 3 pieces that I loved. I wanted to share 2 day and night looks for the Modern Woman on the Go. Check it out below!

4th of July Style Inspiration - Romper with Wrap Skirt Review

"You've got to be willing to lose everything to gain yourself." ~ Iyanla Vanzant

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! I have been loving all of the new pieces that I snagged a while back such as this romper that I snagged for under $25! With a scoop neckline and a wrap skirt giving the illusion of a dress from the back, this printed piece is great for the 4th of July or for a dinner out with the girls!

It contains two skinny straps - allowing you to flaunt your decolletage which is perfect for a night out with strappy heels. If you are not a fan of showing much cleavage, and you are on the bustier side like yours truly, then you may want to opt out of this piece. I am a D-Cup and it definitely is on the revealing side, however I do not mind. I love my curves... ALL of them. My special man reminds me all the time of how beautiful my body is. (Thanks hunni!)

With a sheer panel that wraps around the waist gives it a wrap skirt look. I love the print with warm and cool tone…
