Headwraps, Ruffles and Sneaks

"Your mind is a powerful thing. When you fill it with positive thoughts, your life will start to change."

Happy Monday sweetie pies! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! I know I have! I have had so much going on, but in a totally good way! Well first off, my boyfriend David and I joined a church out here last week. We had been going to this particular church for a while. (Since we moved here circa 2 years ago) We have attended multiple churches of different denominations and agreed that we definitely liked this one the most! There were a few things in particular that we were looking for and this church was the perfect fit. With me having a Baptist background and David having a Catholic background, it was important to have a church home that we both can agree on.

Like I had mentioned in my last post where I shared my monthly goals, my birthday is coming up. I have some exciting things planned for just me and David and then I will be having a pool party the Friday following my birthday. (My birthday is August 16 btw) Can you guys guess how old I be? Hint: Go to my About Me page for a little help. :) I am so blessed, excited and happy to be celebrating another year of life!

What do you sweetie pies think of this look? I have been living in sneakers the past couple of weeks. I decided to throw on a ruffle blouse, ripped denim with sneakers last week and loved the results! It is great daytime look for running errands or catching lunch with friends. You guys know that I obsessed with this ruffle blouse from Target. To see another way I styled this blouse, check out my ruffles galore post. I practically live in these jeans they're so comfy! I kept my jewelry simple with hoops, long pendant necklace and my fave watch at the moment. I tied my hair in a turban because lately it has been too hot for really anything else. And lastly I added these sunnies that I got last month and I have been obsessed with these! I love them so much that I have been wearing them with everything!

I hope you all have an awesome day! As always, XO and Stay FAB! ~ Stormie J

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
