4 Surprising Fall Trends that You May Not Know About!

"Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful." ~ Joshua J. Marine

Happy Wednesday sweetie pies. Fall season is slowly creeping its way in and it is all about pumpkin spice vs. apple cider, (Team Pumpkin Spice) fall weather and fall fashion! I thought about sharing all fall trends but I decided to start with 4 trends that may surprise you this season. I will be sharing pieces and outfits for reference purposes and inspiration. Let's jump right in!

1. RED
This fall we are seeing red in every form of clothing and accessory. I am talking a bright Crayola red. It is the perfect color for adding a sultry sophistication to your aesthetic. I suggest investing in a nice red trench coat and find a red lipstick that will compliment all season long. If you are bold, opt for a pair of red booties to add to your wardrobe like the ones below!

2. Statement Earrings
While you may think statement earrings are just for warm winter and party time - think again! While they were perfect for pairing with bardot tops and dresses alike during the spring and summer months. Statement earrings are great for wearing with chunky knits and turtleneck sweaters as well. I suggest in investing in 2 pairs. One metal pair and another pair in a bold color! To add a unique stylish twist, opt for a pair of metal earrings in an unusual shape. It will definitely be a conversation starter! Unsure of what color? Opt for a red or marigold yellow pair! They compliment other colors and neutrals but will also work with many prints! They definitely a fun sophisticated aspect to your look.

4. Mesh
Whether your personal style is edgy or feminine, mesh is definitely a trend you can try! You can find anything mesh from a dress to a jacket to add an on trend element to your wardrobe. I suggest pairing it with other textures. Try pairing a mesh dress with leather leggings or wear a cropped mesh top with a sequined skirt or sweats. No matter which direction you go with styling this trend, you will definitely become the conversation starter. Feel free to see these examples below.

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
