My Faves for September!

"Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking, 'What's in it for me?'" ~ Brian Tracy

Hey there sweetie pies. We are already in October! September kind of just flew by huh? Well you know with a new month comes new monthly favorites. With my busy schedule I haven't had much time this month to try out new products or get into many products for that matter. If you haven't checked out my life update post yet, check it out to read all about what I have been up to. Even though I don't have many faves this month, these products I swear by!

Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation
This has definitely become one of my favorite drugstore foundations. It is lightweight while providing medium to full coverage. I use the shade 340 or cappuccino. It is available pretty much anywhere but I linked it here for your convenience.

Black Backpack Purse
Due to my chaotic schedule, having a fuss free bag has been an essential. I have been loving this backpack purse to throw all of my essentials in plus it doesn't get in the way when I am also carrying my dance bag. It is also great for the weekends because who wants to fuss with a handbag when you are busy enjoying life?!

Red Sunnies
In my surprising fall trends post, I talk about how red is having a major moment this season. I am starting small by incorporating pops of red in my ensembles and I have been loving it! Combining a new trend with one of my fave accessories equals style magic for my wardrobe! Check out how I incorporated these sunnies into this look below.
White Oval Vintage Inspired Sunnies
I recently got these beauties and I can't seem to put them down! They are comfortable and versatile! Throw them on with a tee and jeans or a midi dress with pumps!
Songs:

Love So Soft - Kelly Clarkson
Havana - Camilla Cabello
Fetish - Selena Gomez

What products have you been loving lately? Let me know below so that I can try them out!

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
