"When you know your name, you should hang on to it, for unless it is noted down and remembered, it will die when you do." ~ Toni Morrison

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Thursday and first day of March! Cheers to another month of awesomeness and operating in purpose! We are almost to the weekend and I have some exciting plans! Make sure to follow me on Snapchat (Ososweetstormie) and Instagram (Sofabulouslysweet) to keep up with all of my shenanigans!

So I was inspired to do this post after I received these pants for a performance. Leave it to me to be inspired by the smallest, most minute thing but I openly embrace it. You never know when inspiration can hit you! I loved the pastel color and figured I would create 2 simple looks that you can replicate! Any colored pair of trousers will do, just find a pair that speak to your personal aesthetic or that you may already own! If you still a little stuck, check out the suggestions that I linked below.

For this first look, I went for a business casual look. To start I opted for this polka dot blouse tucked in the pants. To keep this look from looking slouchy, I opted to wear the pants high waisted. It is flattering and finishes the look. This exact blouse is no longer available but I linked some similar ones below. I then added the black tie around the collar. I just added to knot it to keep the look relaxed. A pair of black pumps are perfect for the office but if heels aren't your thing, a pair of loafers will look just as great! For my jewelry, I kept it minimal with a watch, a bracelet, a ring and a pair of stud earrings. You have a little bling but it is work appropriate and you still look put together. If you don't have a polka dot blouse, you can definitely opt for any blouse that speaks to you. The point is to take it and make it your own!

For the second look, I went for a casual weekend look. This look is great for an off day spent with friends or family. I wore the pants kind of slouchy with a plain white tee and this bomber jacket. To keep from looking frumpy, opt to do a half tuck with your tee. This helps to define your waistline while creating an effortless look. I have been obsessing over this jacket lately. It just completes the look by adding that third layer. A cool pair of sneakers with a fun bag and sunnies complete this look. This look is super comfortable and great for stepping out with family or shopping with friends.

What do you sweetie pies think of this look and would you recreate it? Let me know in the comments below!

How to Make Metallic Work for your Office Wardrobe - Twirling in Rose Gold

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. To not dare is to lose oneself." ~ Soren Kierkegaard

Hey hey sweetie pies, happy Tuesday! One trend that I am loving for Spring is the metallic trend. I am spying it everywhere from shoes to clothing to accessories. I raved awhile back about my obsession with this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe. I love it so much that I had to feature it again on here! For this particular look, I opted to for a more work appropriate ensemble. I paired it with this ruffle blouse that I got ages ago from New York and Company. Even though this piece is no longer available, I linked some ruffle blouses just as fabulous as they are affordable below.

To keep it business casual, I opted to pair it with a blazer and my fave booties. That way you are still covered but fashionable. You can totally make metallic work for the office by letting it be the focal point and pairing it with neutrals. That way you won't be going overboard, especial…

How to Style - B+W Striped Dress 3 of 3 Ways

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned in order to have the life that is waiting for us." ~ Joseph Campbell
Hey hey sweetie pies I am excited to show you the third way that I styled this dress from Rainbow. I opted to wear it tunic style with a pair of jeans and strappy heels. If the length is too long you can opt to leave two or three buttons closed and tie the ends of the shirt into a knot. It helps you  pull off that easy casual look. You can easily create variations of this look by swapping a few things. You can easily swap out the heels for some flat mules for the perfect casual spring outfit. Or you swap out the jeans for long distressed shorts with sandals for sexy casual look. Even though I have styled this dress 3 ways, the options are really endless. Make sure to check out the 1st or 2nd way that I styled this dress. Which look is your fave? 1, 2, or 3?! Leave your thoughts below I would love to hear!
