Classy Southern Belle + Where to Snag this Designer Dupe!

"It is the duty of the young Negro artist...to change through the force of his art that old whispering, 'I want to be white,' hidden in the aspirations of his people, to 'Why should I be white? I am a Negro--and beautiful!'" ~ Langston Hughes
Hey hey sweetie pies! I hope you all have been having an awesome week! Mine has been super busy but I am grateful nonetheless. I love today's look for the blog. I actually wore this on Easter. David and I went to church and then we had dinner at home. (I then went on to do some work such as taking photos and what not)
I love this look because it is easy and classy. This look was accomplished with minimal effort but I feel so put together! (Y'all know I love when that happens!)

This is a blouse and skirt combo that I gravitate towards a lot. The waist band on the skirt really helps to cinch me in. (A big plus for me so I don't lose my figure in this full skirt.) I opted for this colorful scarf because, why not?! I wanted to wear these gold strappy heels so I opted for gold jewelry. I kept it minimal for a chic feel.

Can we have a moment for this handbag? This designer dupe was super affordable and available in multiple colors! This beautiful yellow is perfect for Spring! I love designer but the way your girl budget is set up...plus why not buy the dupes if it means saving a little $$$? I am all about getting the most bang for my buck! I love the python head detail on the snap, which is a trademark for the Bulgari brand.  My exact bag is sold out but I linked the same dupe in this fun green color. Green will be great to use for the next three seasons! To complete the look, I opted for these cateye sunnies from Charlotte Russe. The black pair is sold out on the site so I linked a similar pair here.
What do you sweetie pies think of this look? I would love to know in the comments below!
As always, XO and Stay FAB! ~ Stormie J

3 Pros and Cons Being a Freelancer

"Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free." ~ Jim Morrison ***Stock Image by Wonderlass***
Are you or have you ever thought about being a freelancer? The entire concept for most means freedom to do what you want. Setting your hours. Getting to sleep in. Working when you feel like it. While some of those are true, I think people get a false perception for what it's really like to be a freelancer. I freelance dance and write so I want to share some pro's and con's. These statements are my own opinions so I suggest taking it with a grain of salt.
Pros 1. You are ultimately your own boss. You can dictate what hours you work and how long you work for the most part. Being your own boss means independence and not having to answer to someone else.
2. You can work as little or as much as you want. Since you are your own boss, you can determine how many projects you take on at a time. Usua…
