Luxe and Cozy & #MotivationMonday - Be your Own Cheerleader!

"Every day we should hear at least one song, read one good poem, see one exquisite picture, and, if possible, speak a few sensible words." ~ Johann Wolfgang de Goethe

Hey sweetie pies, happy Monday! 20 days until Christmas whoo hoo! This is my favorite time of the year! Everything is just so beautiful, magical and joyful - I love it!

I am back at it again with the shirt dresses and otk boots! This was go to Fall uniform with sneakers or booties instead of boots but now that temps are down finally I have been wearing these any and every chance I get. To give this look a luxe cozy feel, I opted for this faux fur jacket that I got last year from A'gaci.

I used to hate the idea of mixing metals but it has become quite the trendy thing and I will tell you something, I don't hate it! Here I missed some gold plated and rose gold plated pieces from my boutique and I love it! These earrings and necklace paired with these sunnies and small circle clip are currently available for 25% off when you use code FFHOL16 at checkout.

Now you know it wouldn't be quite Monday if I didn't share a little #MondayMotivation to get you through the week. :)
I often times would find myself confused about why certain individuals don't support me and my dreams. Now I am not talking about random people - I am talking about friends, associates, loved ones. And I had to come to this realization (with the assistance of a blogger babe) that people aren't going to be a part of a winning team until they are #winning. What I mean by that is that most people may not rock with you or support you until you have reached a certain level in your career.
Sometimes you have to be your own 1 and only cheerleader until people notice. And in order for people to notice, you have to make them pay attention. So that means to give your goals everything you got and work your butt off! And of course, remember the few ones who were always there for you, regardless of your stature.
You got this, you know I am rooting for you. 😉

As always, XO and Stay FAB! ~ Stormie J

Vegan Colognes: Are they Eczema Friendly? | Product Review - Derive Colognes

"Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us." ~ Wilma Rudolph

**I received samples courtesy of Derive Colognes to review. Even though these samples were given for my boyfriend David and I to review, all opinions are our own.**
As some of you may know I suffer from eczema. I first noticed I had eczema as a child and was able to keep it pretty much under control. Within the past 2-3 years it has begun to rear it's ugly head again. With all of the smog, the sweating, the heat, the stress, the fragrances and a number of other factors - it has ignited my eczema to where it is hard to use a lot of my favorite things. One of which is perfume. I love smelling good plus it helps to lift my mood. I usually prefer to spray it on my wrist and behind my ears but had to stop doing that. I then resulted to misting it on my clothes but that still would irritate my…

How to Transform your Simple Daytime Look

"I am a feminist, and what that means to me is much the same as the meaning of the fact that I am black; it means that I must undertake to love myself and respect myself as though my very life depends upon self-love and self-respect." ~ June Jordan

Hey hey sweetie pies! Today's post is a look that I have had in heavy rotation. I mean we all have that "no fail" outfit that we love to wear any and everywhere. It is super comfy and you still look put together. I opted for this cotton, slightly oversized button down and dark wash fitted jeans. I love wearing it with sandals for daytime, heels for nighttime and sneakers for weekend. For the daytime, I pretty much style it like I have here. I have just wore the shirt as is with my jeans cuffed. I paired it with this conv…
