OOTD + I want to Hear from YOU!

"Trust yourself. Think for yourself. Act for yourself. Speak for yourself. Be yourself. Imitation is suicide." ~ Marva Collins

Hey hey sweetie pies! Happy Thursday! I hope you guys have been having a fabulous week. It has been a busy one for me personally. In between teaching dance, choreographing, blogging and training - I am so tired but fulfilled! I am looking forward to doing some new things on the blog as well as my dancing so stay tuned for all of that. Also make sure to check out my Instagram to stay up to date with everything. I usually post anything new on there first so stop by and say hey!

For today's post, I wanted to share this totes cute look and I also wanted to get to know a little more so that I can serve you guys better! I mean I know you guys enjoy what I create but I definitely want to make sure that I am bringing you content that you love! So I created a little survey and I would love if you guys could go take it for me. It will only take 5 minutes and you would be helping me out tremendously! You can take the survey here
For this look, I really just put on what I felt like. I have been wanting to style this ruffle skirt in a cool unique way. I loved it with this tee that I styled. I usually don't buy a lot of graphic tees because I have a ton of random tees from different events and such. Plus I love the loud vibrant colors against the white background. I paired it with this bomber that I got this past Fall from Target. I love the ruffle detail which adds a feminine flair to an otherwise militant style. These sunnies are everything!!! It is so great to find a pair that I liked - and in this cool color! I snagged these from Charlotte Russe for like $3! Plus sunnies are like my obsession. I swear I will design a line of sunglasses one day! (You read it here first!) Lastly, my tried and true white sneakers to complete the look. Plus I have been all about comfort these days. Don't get me wrong, I will whip out a pair of heels soon enough. With all the dancing that I have been doing, I opt for comfort when wearing street wear.

What do you sweetie pies have planned for the weekend? I would love to know! Talk to your girl in the comments below!
As always, XO and Stay FAB! ~ Stormie J

"Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us." ~ Wilma Rudolph

**I received samples courtesy of Derive Colognes to review. Even though these samples were given for my boyfriend David and I to review, all opinions are our own.**
As some of you may know I suffer from eczema. I first noticed I had eczema as a child and was able to keep it pretty much under control. Within the past 2-3 years it has begun to rear it's ugly head again. With all of the smog, the sweating, the heat, the stress, the fragrances and a number of other factors - it has ignited my eczema to where it is hard to use a lot of my favorite things. One of which is perfume. I love smelling good plus it helps to lift my mood. I usually prefer to spray it on my wrist and behind my ears but had to stop doing that. I then resulted to misting it on my clothes but that still would irritate my…

How to Transform your Simple Daytime Look

"I am a feminist, and what that means to me is much the same as the meaning of the fact that I am black; it means that I must undertake to love myself and respect myself as though my very life depends upon self-love and self-respect." ~ June Jordan

Hey hey sweetie pies! Today's post is a look that I have had in heavy rotation. I mean we all have that "no fail" outfit that we love to wear any and everywhere. It is super comfy and you still look put together. I opted for this cotton, slightly oversized button down and dark wash fitted jeans. I love wearing it with sandals for daytime, heels for nighttime and sneakers for weekend. For the daytime, I pretty much style it like I have here. I have just wore the shirt as is with my jeans cuffed. I paired it with this conv…
