Top 5 Frequently Asked Blogging Questions

"It's time for you to move, realizing that the thing you are seeking is also seeking you." ~ Iyanla Vanzant

Hey sweetie pies! In 2014, I decided that I wanted to create a creative outlet where I could share my passions and experiences. I wanted a platform where I could hopefully inspire others and vice versa. It is so crazy to think that that was almost 4 years ago. As I continue on this blogging journey, I have been asked about a number of things blogging related. Most I haven't open addressed - not until now. :) Keep reading to see my answers for my Top 5 Frequently Asked Blogging Questions.

1. Do you need a lot of money to start a blog?
Honestly no you do not! There are ways that you can set up a blog/site for free. However, if you are looking to turn your blog into a business, then I suggest that you purchase a domain. There are various sites that you can try to purchase your domain - some as inexpensive as $3. Depending on your niche, you will need something to take pictures/video, editing software and possibly subscriptions for different resources. All of this can vary based on what you want for your blog. But if money is tight, or better yet non-existent, you can still start a blog for little to nothing!

2. Do you make money blogging?
I do make money but in my opinion I don't make enough to get rid of my other jobs. But it is nice to provide additional income.

3. How do I start a blog?
It is really easy these days to start a blog. Set up a website, decide a niche and start writing! But the work only starts there. Then you have to publish, network and promote to get yourself out there!

4. I want to start a blog but I am not sure where to begin. How do I decide on a niche?
Think about your passionate about and then go from there! Perhaps you don't like you have a "passion" but you have interest in several subjects. If this sounds like you, brainstorm first and then narrow it down from there. Whatever your niche, it should be something that you enjoy but also something that you are willing to share with the world.

5. Is it true that blogging can replace or exceed my current income?
Yes this is very true! But it requires some work and man hours to build your blog to that level. I have blogger colleagues who blog full time and make full time income from their respective blogs. But they will quickly tell you that it is a lot of work - but work that they truly enjoy. I believe that it is possible and it is something that I strive towards as a blogger......(one day)

"Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us." ~ Wilma Rudolph

As some of you may know I suffer from eczema. I first noticed I had eczema as a child and was able to keep it pretty much under control. Within the past 2-3 years it has begun to rear it's ugly head again. With all of the smog, the sweating, the heat, the stress, the fragrances and a number of other factors - it has ignited my eczema to where it is hard to use a lot of my favorite things. One of which is perfume. I love smelling good plus it helps to lift my mood. I usually prefer to spray it on my wrist and behind my ears but had to stop doing that. I then resulted to misting it on my clothes but that still would irritate my…

Hey hey sweetie pies! Today's post is a look that I have had in heavy rotation. I mean we all have that "no fail" outfit that we love to wear any and everywhere. It is super comfy and you still look put together. I opted for this cotton, slightly oversized button down and dark wash fitted jeans. I love wearing it with sandals for daytime, heels for nighttime and sneakers for weekend. For the daytime, I pretty much style it like I have here. I have just wore the shirt as is with my jeans cuffed. I paired it with this conv…
